I feel we need custom titles. Maybe it could be an award for reaching a set amount of posts, which the mods consider the majority to be of high quality.

This would encourage good posting behaviours and increase activity for those vain enough to have a custom title.

Discuss.

LOL, not a bad idea, but somehow I don't like it. Some people would post more, because they want the next title. Now granaboarders are equal, and I think this title thing would be almost a competition. I'm not against it, but it's kinda strang

No, it'll be like being knighted by a king/queen. You only get knighted for good, recognisable deeds. The mods ultimately decide who gets the custom title, judging by the number of posts, and how good they are.

It's quite a good idea. I like it. Somehow this would show the good sides of members. It's not like a competition, it's what you can achieve naturally.
What titles did you think about OCB?

Anything that encourages quality posts with equal opportunities for all Granaboarders is good for the board.

I'd be willing to add custom titles, but there's a problem - I can't change the board's code, and we're stuck with the "GB Moderator", "GB User", "GB newcomer" ranks we have. If you don't like these, we can discuss better names.

However, Proto Omega is mine, and I can do anything there. In fact I already implemented member classes, which are:

0 - Founder
1 - Staff
2 - Veteran
3 - Member

Perhaps this suits your needs. Or, if you want, once I find a proper host and proper time to upload and launch frigging Proto Omega, remind me of this and we can discuss to add a few (3-4) classes between Staff and Veteran for recognition.
